We loved Everything! June What a wonderful cabin. So homey andcomfortable with all of the amenities, including comfy mattresses,
well supplied kitchen and games and videos for the whole family. The little town of Allenspark is a gem too. Together they made the perfect vacation package. We would love to come back again! “Cozy and charming, perfect for a winter retreat!” Mar
Tucked away in a stand of aspen trees, this charming cabin was the perfect spot for our family trip.
The cabin had plenty of room for all five adults in our family, and was spotlessly clean and beautifully stocked with everything we could possibly have needed, from kitchen needs to games and books. There was even a bucket of bird food to attract the amazing
variety of winter birds that we enjoyed watching through the wrap around windows. Our trip was a "bucket list" trip for our father, the last trip he ever took, and fulfilled every wish on his list, from the gorgeous snow falling, to the fireplace with a warm
fire every night. The location of the cabin was ideal! Estes Park is only a few miles north on a scenic drive, with Rocky Mountain National Park making a
wonderful day trip. The Meadow Mountain Cafe in Allenspark had wonderful food and service. And it was so nice to come back to the secluded cabin at the end of the day to sit by the fire and relax. When we had questions about the cabin, the owner or her manager were immediately available with answers. In addition, the cabin had a notebook filled with tips and notes about the local area and places to visit. All in all, we had a wonderful time and definitely plan to return in the future. We would definitely recommend this beautiful retreat to anyone looking for a quiet,
yet accessible vacation home in the mountains!
Our fourth visit!
What a wonderful "another" stay we had at the cabin. This was our 4th time here. All of us needed a little R&R
from our busy lives and this is just the place. The new bathrooms are simply gorgeous! Much more than we expected. We also met a cabin owner up the hill. Jerry Patterson is a glassmaker in Estes Park. We even had the opportunity
to visit his gallery, watch his glass blowing demonstration and purchase a piece of art glass to take home with us to remember our trip and cabin stay. We are already making plans to return in June 2014. Can't wait!
We want to move here!
This is our second visit within a month. This time we brought our twin 11-year old boys with us. They want to move here from the Army base in Colorado Springs. We all agree that's a great idea.
It is so peaceful, comfortable, and relaxing.
We sent
our guys out hiking -- and they came back with stories of wildlife. It is awesome how our boys are homebodies but they love being here. We always hate to leave. Our time seems to go way too fast. We'll be back.
Breathtaking for our engagement!
We've had a great family vacation! We've been through the Rocky Mountains, Denveer, Pikes Peak & many more. Celebrated a birthday, followed by an engagement in front of the fireplace! It's beautiful
and breathtaking up here. I'm so sad to go back to the float Lincoln Nebraska. Thanks for the wonderful time. I'll never forget it!!!
We had such fun!!
Thanks for the great family getaway. We all enjoyed
it and the kids had a blast. We are from South Texas and we don't get any snow. We had so much fun in the snow, sledding and making snowmen. This is a very beautiful place and we thank you for sharing it.
Laughter and friendship
Thank you so much for sharing your cabin with us. It truly will be a lifetime long memory. From the moment we stepped foot into the cabin, we were in LOVE! We came here with our 2 children
(3 & 8 months) and our friends and their 17 year old daughter. There was fun for all! We had a ton of snow which we enjoyed . We took the sleds down the road in front of the cabin. I can't remember the last time we all
laughed so much. Thank you for everything and thank you for bringing friendships closer. The view from the cabin is beautiful.
I enjoyed waking before everyone and listening to the wind in the trees. So peaceful. I hope to return someday!
Inner peace for our knitting retreat
Feb
Our
knitting retreat at the Aspen mountain cabin has been the most wonderful respite for the nine harried women. We got a lot
of snow and we enjoyed playing in it. Everything was so beautiful that we found our inner peace. . . . love and many blessings
Wonderful!

Amazing Mountain Escape
January
Our trip to the Aspen Mountain Cabin was absolutely wonderful! This was our first
experience renting a vacation home, and we couldn't have asked for a better one. If you're thinking about staying at this cabin, stop thinking and book your stay! The cabin has just the right mix of modern and cozy. There were 5 of us during our visit, and
we all had plenty of room. The cabin has so much natural light, great views (watching the sunrise over the mountain each morning was beautiful), and all the amenities you could ever need. Jessie was a wonderful host. She prepared us for our stay wonderfully,
and gave us great information about the local places to eat and shop, etc. The Meadow Mountain Cafe in Allenspark has friendly people and a breakfast that is out of this world. We also really enjoyed the town of Lyons. It has so many neat restaurants and shops.
The St. Vrain Market is also a great place for produce and out of this world sugar cookies and other baked goods. I know we'll be returning to the Aspen Mountain Cabin. I would love to experience each of the seasons from the inviting back deck. This cabin
is also a great place for families with young children. The cabin is stocked with toys and games and movies both children and adults can appreciate and enjoy. I would suggest this listing to anyone considering a stay in the Lyons/Estes Park area. You won't
regret it!

Well Appointed Cabin October Excellent base to relax or explore the many hiking trails in the area. The master bath
is extremely luxurious and the sleeping configuration worked well for our group of 6. Wonderful views of the wooded lot and frequent visits from Elk. Would stay here again! Recommended for: Adventure Seekers, Sightseeing, Families with Young Children, Romantic Getaway Just a little bit of Heaven! October Aspen Mountain cabin was even more beautiful than I expected it
to be! It was perfect in every way. It was clean, roomy, peaceful with a beautiful view. Everything you could possibly need is there for you. The owner has done everything and more possible to make it very comfortable for guests to enjoy. The master bathroom
was newly renovated and oh so beautiful! I honestly could have stayed there forever! If you're looking for a little bit of heaven Aspen Mountain is the place to go. What a delightful place. We were all pleasantly surprised by the coziness of the cabin. It is very
comfortably furnished. I had two wishes when we came – see animals and a beautiful view. My wishes came true. First morning 5 mule deer grazed just into the trees at the first break of dawn. The next morning four were back and came right up to the back
steps. Wow! What a sight! Thank you for thinking of everything. Games, (my, how our girls love the little loft area rooms, bedding, washer/dryer, comfortable furniture, etc. Thank you for wonderful memories. Our visit at the cabin was amazing! We
got married in the meadow behind the cabin. It was a perfect setting for a nice country wedding with our new combined families. The cabin had everything we could have needed. The kids found the dress-up clothes to be hours of fun. Thank you so much
for a wonderful place to have our special day! Wow! What an awesome cabin!
We were so excited to find it somewhat secluded and very near nature. As two moms and four kids, we loved being able to be in different areas doing different things and never feeling crowded. Thanks for everything. We had a wonderful week at your cabin. We were delighted with the cabin’s furnishings: the cozy bedding, the interesting antiques, the well-stocked kitchen, etc! We were thrilled to be able
to have a fire in the fireplace in August. We decided the sky is a brighter blue here than in Iowa. Thank you for a great mountain vacation.
One would think aspens are aspens no matter where they are, but that simply isn’t true. Colorado’s mountains offer something that no other place can. Outside
the charming cabin, we found trails to hike, wild life and horses to ride, but from inside we could spend hours just watching the quaking aspens or cuddling up and reading a book by the fires. This cabin was the perfect place to observe God’s
wonderful creation. It’s amazing how awesome the mountains are even for those of us who live at 7200 feet in Laramie Wyoming. I would have to say the place was a perfect fit: the views, the peacefulness, the accessibility to go horseback riding, fishing,
hiking, etc. We had a 5 X 5 bull elk about 40 yards outside the kitchen one morning and heard his bugle last night
